Heathers the Musical
My first time taking promotional shots for a musical.
Photographing UGA’s production of Heathers: The Musical was an exciting and insightful experience. Through this project, I honed my ability to capture dynamic imagery that reflects the show's tone and character relationships. I learned the importance of lighting, angles, and composition in creating visually compelling photos that resonate with an audience while meeting the production's marketing needs. Collaborating with the cast and creative team also deepened my understanding of teamwork and the storytelling process, as I worked to translate their vision into captivating promotional material. This opportunity strengthened my technical skills and my appreciation for the interplay between visual art and performing arts.
Grease
UGA's production of Grease. My second experience photographing for a musical promo. Having a better understanding of my camera, I was able to play more with aperture and shutter speed.
"Dream Roles" Cabaret
For the Dream Roles Cabaret with UGA NextAct Theatre, I captured photos that challenged me both creatively and technically. It was my first time shooting with low lighting and mirrors, which challenged me to experiment with reflections, shadows, and angles.

I also chose to incorporate a ladder into the staging, allowing for unique positioning, composition, and heigh variations.
